QotD: A Dream Come True

Have you ever had a dream that came true?

This is taken from a blog I wrote on January 6, 2001 (that would be my senior year of high school for those of you who don't really know me):

I had a dream about my first day in college.  I walked into my dorm room and my roommate had taken the liberty of filling both closets with her clothes.  It was a pretty big room for a dorm. For a UC dorm, anyhow.  I didn't even know what college I was in until I asked [April].  It was UCI.  For some reason, about half my friends were attending UCI, and they were all in my room along with my ghetto roommate and a bunch of her ghetto friends.  I remember thinking Why couldn't I have gotten a good roommate like Kat did?  I was about to walk w/ a friend to his dorm to see where it was when I woke up.  I think I'm getting a little too college-obsessed.

And April and I did in fact end up attending UCI even though she was somewhat disinclined to go there at the time I had the dream.  I did not, however, have a ghetto roommate.  I lived with April :D
